This essay will take a stand regarding any issue that belongs to the public domain. This means you can argue about anything from dietary choices to issues about home schooling, to issues about use of social media, or anything else that your own experience will allow you to discuss. You simply have to have a point of view and enough experience abut yout topic to write a convincing argument. You should show an awareness of at least one opposing side to the argument so you can address the opposing view. Your argument should be supported by three reasons, at least. You should offer evidence in the form of examples or anecdotes, to help support each reason. The conclusion should take one additional step from the thesis in order to answer the question: “therefore what?” What is the importance of this central argument?
