For this paper students are to assess various aspects of a hospital and identify a current Quality/Safety issue in a hospital of choice. Students will research evidence for the best solution and how to go about implementing a solution project that is either being planned or is in the process of implementation. You will be analyzing the practice setting based on its response to the change process. Students will contact and interview the Hospital Educator and Quality/Safety/Risk Manager to acquire facility-specific information for this portion of the assignment.
The Professional Practice Paper should be a minimum of 10 pages and a maximum of 14 pages not to include, a title page, abstract, and reference page. Five points will be deducted from the final overall grade for content that is not within the page limits.
