Topic: Our lives are often determined by the choices we make. Think of a time when you made a choice that impacted your life, for better or for worse. What would have happened if you had made a different choice? Where would you be today? Who would you be today?

Life has a funny way of throwing us into a spiral like rollercoaster doesn’t it? Every choice we make in life has a huge impact on our future and what our life will look like. Lack of guidance can really leave you feeling lost. Coming from a home of divorce during my most crucial years (teenage years) really had a negative impact on me. I was unintentionally forced to grow up extremely fast. There is absolutely no one to blame, these are just the cards life has dealt for me. During that time I truly thought that I was ready to be independent and start my own life.  I started working at a very young age (14-15) having to essentially provide for my needs made me feel like I was mature and grown up. At the age of 18 I became pregnant with my first child. I was just a year out of high school hadn’t experienced life to its fullest potential, however I was in desperate need to be on my own and start a life with the father of my unborn child.
