The Final Project must include the following:
1. A strategy for identifying and selecting a crisis management team
2. Describe the organizational resources available to you in a crisis (community, state, national, and international organizations). Explain what they are and how they might be used in a crisis in your community. Then, explain how you might promote or expect collaboration between and among them.
3. A description of the trained professionals available in your community
4. A summary of ethical and legal issues/considerations that you might encounter when responding to a crisis in your community
5. A description of issues/considerations related to diverse populations that you might encounter when responding to a crisis in your community
6. A description of a model that you would use to train counselors for a crisis
7. A description of how you would use empirically-supported treatments with survivors and caretakers
8. A description of how the crisis management plan would be evaluated (after the fact)
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS
Your final project must include the following:
12 -15 double spaced pages (plus title page and references).
NO ABSTRACTS please!
Introductory paragraph (i.e., topic sentence/general statement, three to four supporting details, and a thesis statement as your last sentence).
Body of your paper (Eight levels of heading—based upon the bullet points contained in the RESOURCES area –labeled: Crisis Management Plan Guidelines).
Your Conclusion (with the word, Conclusion centered and bold–must be your final level of heading). All papers must end with a comprehensive conclusion.
Cite from at least five peer reviewed or relevant scholarly resources (including your textbooks for this course).
A list of references formatted according to APA 7th edition standards.
A Turnitin similarity score of 10% or less. Please paraphrase any material you intend to resubmit through Turnitin’s plagiarism checker. Be mindful that I am not authorized to provide credit for papers that contain integrity issues.
