Students work individually to design, conduct and report an original investigation of some aspect of
media influence, making use of a minimum of one key concept from the subject’s required reading list
and discussing at least two real-world examples of media research. Each student submits their
project report in either a classic written research essay or industry report genre. All students
demonstrate their professionalism by including a 150- to 200-word statement on how their research
design takes ethics, diversity, and Indigenous issues into consideration.
