Students are expected to describe the legal process of STIs in the state of Florida. Out of state students may describe the legalities involved to the state of their residency. A rubric will be posted in Moodle portal. The paper should be a narrative following the APA 7th edition format and must include:

·       Reportable diseases in the United States

·       Reportable and non-reportable diseases in the state of Florida or the state of the student’s current residency.

·       Diagnostic tests including collection, transport, storage, time for processing, most and least used, and expected findings

·       Most current treatment and patient recommendations.

·       Impact of STIs and cost-effectiveness of prevention.

·       References from peer reviewed resources within the past five years.
