reconsider something thought or done in the past from the perspective of the present. Writing
reflectively encourages you to train your own camera’s eye, metaphorically speaking, on the
past.
Write a Reflective Essay providing your insights on your progress as a writer this semester.
Review specific writing projects during the term, elaborating on what you have discovered about
yourself as a writer. What patterns do you see? What surprises you? How can you show your
growth as a writer through specific examples? Be honest in identifying weaknesses and strengths
Length: no more than two pages, double spaced.
Format: Double space your paper, and use a 12 pt. font, Times New Roman. There should
be a title at the top of page 1.
