Length: 5-7 minutes. Defend why Friendships matter more than schoolwork. Speech must also address and refute the key counter-argument of the other side and must contain at least two different types of evidence (examples, facts, statistics, or testimony) from at least five different sources (with a bibliography page). I’ve included a sample of how the outline format should look and an additional document offering guidance on constructing the outline. I’ve already begun the research and will be attaching a Word document containing links and quotes from relevant articles. Feel free to choose and elaborate on any ideas provided or explore your own research if you believe it would enhance the content of the speech.
