In your reading this week, you’re learning about various infections of the urinary and reproductive systems. For this week’s assignment, you create a video, infographic, or presentation to educate others about a disease affecting the male or female reproductive systems.
Address the following criteria in your video, infographic, or presentation digital study tool:
Select ONE of the infections discussed in Chapters 20 of your textbook.
After reviewing the reading material, prepare a video, infographic, or presentation about your selected infection. Your digital study tool should serve as an educational ad about the significance of this infection. It should include, the following:
An overview of the disease
A description of the causative agent
A description of the mode of transmission
A description of the treatment for the disease
A brief overview of any preventative methods for transmission.
Add some visual illustrations to enhance your presentation. Be sure to add at least one reference (using APA) which exemplifies where you learned about the material. This could be your e-text or another source. If you submit a video response, be sure to additional add a text response with your reference.
All submissions should be in your own words. If you quote material, be sure to clearly designated these statements in quotations.
Please create these items using infographics (Canva.com) or video (Powtoon.com). If you would like to use a different media source, please email your Instructor first for permission.
