Societal Perceptions: Analyze the societal perception of low-wage workers and how their labor supports broader economic systems. Reflections: Reflect on your assumptions or experiences related to service work, and how Ehrenreich’s narrative challenges or confirms them. Interview: Interview someone who has worked in a low-wage service job and compare their experience with Ehrenreich’s.What do these experiences reveal about the value society places on “invisible” work? Please note:  Be sure to use at least three direct quotes from each chapter to support your analysis. This is part of the grading rubric.

Drawing on Milkman's analysis, discuss how the experiences and organizing efforts of immigrant workers challenge traditional labor movement strategies and the implications for the revitalization of labor unions and worker advocacy in the United States. Discuss these key points in two double-spaced pages.
