I will be doing a presentation on diabetes with 7 others.
– The subtopics/ order of the presentation will be:
1. history/ what it is/ how it evolved/ how diabetes affects the body physically & mentally
2. Early detection and methods of control for type 1 and type 2 diabetes
3. Carbohydrate intake impacts type 1 and type 2 diabetes
4. Potential medical complications often associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes
5. The cost of diabetes management in hospitals and health systems
6. Economic disparity in access to diabetes treatment
7. Which social groups are most affected by diabetes in the United States?
8. Controlling, preventing, and reversing type 1 and type 2 diabetes(Conclusion)
– My part will be #1, (history/ what it is (mention the types of diabetes there are but mainly focus on type 1 & type 2)/ how it evolved/ how diabetes affects the body physically & mentally)
– you may add pictures
– You can add whatever information you want from the references provided, but make sure that it makes sense and that it flows well throughout the slides
– I will have to speak about my subtopic for 10 minutes, so if you can add enough information that would be great!
– if you can, adding notes on the side for when I speak would be great as well!
– towards the end of the slides, can you try to make it so that when the next person speaks about “Early detection and methods of control for type 1 and type 2 diabetes,” it flows into it
