Classroom Management Stance
This is your opportunity to reflect on the readings from this semester and your beliefs about leading your classroom and how students learn best. Try to begin with a strong claim about where you stand: I believe in running a student-centered classroom that empowers students and provides them with the structure that they crave. If you find yourself having trouble getting started, create a metaphor or simile for classroom management. Cite relevant readings in this essay to support your stance and provide examples to illustrate your points. This essay should also include a visual of your preferred classroom arrangement and a description of this arrangement—including your rationale for why you would like to set up your classroom this way.
