Three different layouts of residential units are given. The tasks for this assignment are to complete following for one of the unit:-
Calculate the maximum demand required for the residential unit.
Design the layouts for the lighting points, power outlets, electric oven and air condition unit and etc with circuitries.
Show a detailed calculation of a cable sizing for the air condition unit. The distance from the DB to the air condition’s isolator is 25 m for Type A, 20 m for Type B and 25 m for Type C. You are to specify the voltage drop to meet the SS638.
Design the single line for the apartment; include the kWh and the rating and specification for the incoming main breaker, cables size, outgoing breaker ratings, type and breaking capacity.
Show a wiring diagram circuitry for the following:-
A lighting circuit for 2 lighting points control by 2-way switches in the living room.
Under the same circuit as in (i), 1-way switch for 2 lighting points in dining room and 1 way switch for 2 lighting wall light in the balcony.
A circuit for a 15 A SSO in the master room.
Note: this wiring diagram to include the current rating of the MCB and the cable size of the circuit.
