The project must be solely based on the topic selected below.
Theme: “Improving services by involving people” Topic: Individual choice – ensuring individuals are aware of their options regarding treatment or interventions. L01: Explain the role of research for evidence-based practice in health and social care. Activity 1 Part A: The student to write a reflective essay in a booklet (500 words) To do this:
• Describe the purpose and process of research and how that enables evidence-based practice • Explain the skills and qualities that are required to conduct a literature review • Analyse own current skills and knowledge in being able to conduct a literature review in health and social care towards evidence-based practice
