(Step 1): Download the data set: Final Project Data.
(Step 2): In a MS Word document name two variables selected from the data provided that you plan to use for your Final Project and find one scholarly journal article that you will use to support your work.
Font: 12 point TNR or Helvetica
Reference Style: APA 6th Edition
(Step 3): Describe each variables level of measurement (i.e. drug use in the past 30 days is measured as a ratio level variable, etc.). You can also report the frequency, mean or median (report depending on level of measurement), but this is not required.
(Step 4): Write a research question and research hypothesis in words about what you would expect to find about the relationship between two variables.
(Step 5): Using Excel, create a chart or graph to graphically depict both variables.
Your charts or graphs should contain all the following elements, which you’ll need to succeed on the final project: Labels, titles, and axis labels.
Place these two charts or graphs in your MS Word document, and you’re done!
Make sure you choose a type of chart or graph that is best for the level of measurement of your variable.
* For the Final Project you will also need frequency tables for your variables*
