UO Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections Literature Review

( Evaluation Criteria/Grading Rubric Each student will conduct a literature review on selected healthcare topic of interest. The purpose of a literature review is to select and analyze relevant nursing research studies (written within the last five years), while integrating the characteristics, findings and discussing the results on the topic of interest to the student. *Must be peer reviewed nursing journal articles, webpages not accepted. Criteria Points 1. Synthesizes the current peer-reviewed literature journal article on the topic and succinctly articulates the student’s informed understanding of the topic (in no more than four pages for the body of the paper). *Limit the length of this paper to no more than 7 pages (Title page, abstract, 4 pages of content, and Reference page). 20 2. Incorporates References to course readings and other scholarly sources (including at least five that appeared in peer-reviewed journals) to support the student’s inquiry of the topic (must be published within the past 5 years. 15 3. Represents a grammatically correct, clearly written, and wellorganized paper that adheres to APA style and format (7th edition).
