In this week’s assignment, you will think about how to do secondary or tertiary studies. Assume the following: You are interested in comparing the use of primary care services in uninsured patients and patients with Medicaid. Your research question is “Do patients with Medicaid use primary care services more than the uninsured?” Your assignment this week is: Write a one paragraph summary of how you would design your study including what variables you would gather – and why Add another paragraph describing where you would get the data – secondary or tertiary. If you choose tertiary, identify at least three (3) articles that would help you with your study – OR – if you choose a secondary design, describe how you would analyze the data ( and you must be specific – independent/dependent variables and what statistical tests you would use).
