Week 10 Assignment: Reflection
Reflection Instructions
This week, you will reflect on your process, progress, and papers completed over the past nine weeks. Follow these instructions:
1) Read chapter 10.
2) Re-read your two essays—along with your instructor’s feedback.
3) Review feedback received throughout the course.
4) Cover the topics below in a short (2 to 3-minute) video or a creative piece. The video can be a song, a dance, or even a speech. We will accept a PowerPoint presentation, a diagram, a storybook, or a work of art. The goal is to present your ideas creatively. Believe it or not, this will help you retain what you have learned. So, stretch yourself. We will award points for inventiveness and creativity!
Here are the topics to cover:
1. Reliable sources, unreliable information, documentation, and fallacies.
2. The writing process.
3. The essay structure.
4. APA format.
5. Logos, pathos, and ethos for different purposes and readers.
You will be graded on four aspects:
1. Coverage (How many of the topics did you cover?)
2. Effort (How thoughtful does the work seem?)
3. Communication (How effectively does it communicate its points?)
4. Creativity (How inventive is the approach to the assignment?)
Optional: Resubmit Either or Both Papers, following these instructions:
After completing the “Reflection” part of the assignment.
1. Revise and proofread either or both papers again.
2. Re-submit either or both papers in the correct week (Week 5 or Week 9) along with an explanation of the improvements you made and why.
