Aim The aim of this unit is for learners to understand the principles of continuous quality improvement.

Learners will understand and demonstrate how continuous quality improvement can support innovation and change. It also explores systems and processes that facilitate positive outcomes for individuals and will allow learners to identify opportunities for service improvement through change management.

Lessons learned from incidents and national events will enable learners to reflect on how these might be used to implement change through transformation and innovation.
