If you are creating a new account, complete all necessary fields and click “Create Account”. You will
need an email address (use your university email address) and a phone number that is unique to
you. You cannot share an email address with another ahlei.org user.
• In order to set up your account, an email will be sent to the email address on the profile. You
will need to click on the link in the email to verify your account.
• You may have to check your spam or junk mail for this verification email.

Before the exam
Your lecturer will assign the CHIA Exam to your university email address. You will receive an email
stating you have an AHLEI learning product or exam assigned to you. Click on the link provided.
You will then be able to enrol in the Exam. Simply click on ‘Enrol’. Nothing else is necessary at this
stage. If necessary, your lecturer will resend you with a link where you can enrol in the Exam.

Exam Day
First, login into your AHLEI account. You will be able to access your Exams on the Learning and Exam
Dashboard. To access the Learning and Exam Dashboard, first go to your account in ‘My Account’,
located at the top of the screen.
Then, click on ‘Access your courses and exams’ under the ‘My Learning & Exams’ heading.

You have now arrived to the learning and exam dashboard.
Go to the third tab called ‘Proctored Exams’ under ‘My Exam Activity’.
Your CHIA Exam will be listed with a ‘Start’ button on the right side of the screen. Click on ‘Start’ to
proceed to your CHIA Exam.
